Positive change takes so long..

"Leaders of the campaign to outlaw same-sex marriage in California are warning businesses that have given money to the state's largest gay rights group they will be publicly identified as opponents of traditional unions unless they contribute to the gay marriage ban, too." - SFGate

This seems like an embarrassment to modern society. Much like those who look back on past times and condemn them for acting in ways we deem unfathomable, our current society is going to be viewed as uncivilized due to these kinds of groups attempting to hold onto past ways of acting and thinking for too long. 

It is ridiculous really, but I think that time will eventually iron out the wrinkles of intolerability.
